ah ha, i didnt realise all of them did this and thought it was just mine until now....... i always yank it a good few times as i am parked on a slight hill and am extra cautious about catching something if someone else did it for me :evil:

Sometimes I ask my missus to yank... she's not very strong though so sometimes has to go for a couple of yanks before success

I am a single yanker but today I yanked twice for the first time and let me tell you, it was a pleasant surprise

At my age one Yank is enough and its all over

One firm yank is usually enough, but I hold the end in when I do it to otherwise it makes a cracking noise on the way up.

I'm a bit OCD though so before I get out of the cockpit I give it a couple more tugs just to ensure its firm.
