Had the family over for Xmas Lunch (as you do) and although I've owned the zed for nearly 11 months not all had seen it in the flesh and none had been in it.

So I had 3 out for a drive, 3 others sat in for a feel of the driving position and lots of seriously good comments all round

Tell us about your xmas zed drives?

Good times! Took my little sister out for for a quick spin during one of the dry spells to Windsor & Eton - lots of tourists about (suprisingly?!? on Xmas day) admiring it as we drove past!

Don't need an excuse to go out for a drive!

Took my father out for a drive as he hadn't driven mine in anger yet. Had a good blast to see how it compares to his TT v6 :driving: which I took out on the same route just after.

We both prefer our own
His felt far too slow in initial acceleration to me, it needs another 100bhp which is why he's looking for the TT RS Plus to come down in price, very safe handling wise.
He didn't have the confidence to floor mine I the corners like he does with his. Something I enjoy

Lol driving a BMW, and especially the Z4 M is the art of going side-ways (or at least knowing how to control it / when the limit is being reached) and I'm still getting used to it! Wouldn't change it for a more sure footed Boxter or TT - reminds me the driving is really happening!!!

Left the zed in the garage and took the wife's TT out when we went for lunch today. Would have liked to take out the zed but she was driving back (!) from the restaurant and I get a bit nervous when she drives my car.

Is the system on the Z4 designed to cut the power to the back end and allow the car to understeer? On a quiet roundabout I was experimenting with the Zed on a wet and greasy day and was surprised at the sharpness and effectiveness of the system. Cut in pretty early and pushing balance forward which made the front tyres very quickly overwhelmed. System off next time to see how sensitive the chassis is with no interference - and that's with just the 2.0i

Had a 30 mile jaunt to Brentwood and back yesterday to deliver xmas prezzies to the GF and her family :) Some roads were flooded but did get a chance to indulge in the Z4M's party piece and stretch her legs in 3rd on the way back - oh the noise! :D

Hurry up spring I want to go for a proper countryside hoon ;) :driving:
