It's nearly Black Friday here in America. You know, when folk fist-fight over dolls and heated toilet seats. If you're murmuring 'what the fook is this Gringo talking about?', then you owe yourself a few minutes on YouTube. It's epic!

Anyhoo ... xHP is offering 15% discount from tomorrow thru Sunday. And if you say I've sent you, they'll give you an extra 0%.

Thanks for the heads up! I have been waiting for XHP sale for a while now :D I've already ordered the Thor wifi adaptor on their Black Friday sale so will check tomorrow for the XHP!

FYI, I'm on my third Thor. When the second failed, it was in the middle of a flash that didn't reach the end. A recovery truck brought me back home. Now I carry two in the car, and a third one at home. Richard/R.92 also hears of other people having problem with Thor. And that MHD is a better adapter.
 
Top Tip, my .basket' is filled ready for the price drop, although I am almost certain they wont do the sale here.
Black Friday is a big let down in the UK

Wish I knew that before, it's already been ordered now. Hopefully it will be ok just need it to flash XHP and then I probably won't use it again.

I just seen their Facebook page which has announced the sale and since you can buy it off their German website I think you should be ok as that site serves all countries I think.
 
If anybody needs for a purchase (xHP or otherwise) to be originated in America, please drop me a note. I cannot promise we'll be able to do it, but he who helps is a happier human. (So said the maven.)

I think that post is from last year, judging by the comments. There is a sale price for the mhd super license currently.

The map pack won't be any use with upgraded turbos, you need a custom tune when moving outside of the usual downpipes+intercooler mods.

We’ll see in a few hours..I postponed my boost and stage 2 map purchase till tomorrow anyway.. :thumbsup:

Hi R.E92..yes fully understood on that..I’m just keen for the record to document on the dyno the effects of progressive changes :driving: :thumbsup:
 
Sale has already started. Sale on Super licenses only currently, so probably not much use to you if you only want a couple of packs.

Your screenshot has comments from a year ago, so definitely not for this year.

So I finally managed to flash my gearbox using XHP yesterday, I was expecting it to take ages to flash for some reason but in the end it took less than 5 minutes! Haven't tested the car for any great length yet but from what I can see so far, it makes a huge difference! The gear changes are way quicker and makes the whole car feel more lively, when you put in manual it won't shift up unless you decide to change gears allowing you to hit the redline if you want and a nice touch you get to see what gear you are in on the dash display even when in comfort drive mode!

I would think on the 6HP box fitted to the 30i, the xHP would make it look n feel much more like the 8HP box..good result :thumbsup:
 
I’m still messing around with Torque Punch and Torque Reduction. Torque Punch is set to the minimum; 1. The upshifting kick was messing with my driving. I need to try 2 or 3. Torque Reduction is 850, but TBH, I didn’t feel any difference at 150 or 850. Maybe because Torque Punch is so low already. More experiments.
 
xHP doesn’t support the Z4 8HP apparently. They’ve said to me that they’ve moved to the G29 now. This is one message they sent me. Thought it would be worth raising that just in case someone coughs up only to be disappointed.

unfortunately the demand for them was to low, and we have not developed on the Z4 TCU firmware.
