Xenons question

Hi all, quick technical question about my factory fit Xenons..they seem to be adjusted very low-to the point that it can be hard to see where I'm going, which isn't ideal. They self adjust fine on start up doing the sweep up and down, but I wondered if the fact that my drive is sloping confuses the level sensors and makes it adjust them low? Does anyone know if that's possible?

Mine seem to be aimed a bit low (or the throw is a bit short) compared to other cars I've had with HIDs, but I assume that's purely due to them being mounted low.

The only option is to raise the aim a little with the adjustment screws.

funny enough on my mot the guy asked me to check the the dial was at 0 because the lights were a bit low, told him they were xenons and he just said "ah so they are no worries"

assuming i need to adjust mine slightly then

Very easy done. Take a trip to a dark flat road, cover one light and adjust the other so high that the light doesn't raise on your leg when you take a trip away. Switch and adjust the other.
(Clockwise raises the light)

You have to get the lights set as per the MOT settings then if you add weight to the boot or a passenger the self levelling adjusts the lights to correct level. Sounds like you likes are set too low to start with.
