Xenons not levelling

My head lights do not adjust or cycle upon start up and hence sit low; any ideas? On my e85 one of the levelling sensors had snapped, so got a used one from eBay and fitted it. Looking at real oem for the e89 they appear to sit behind the wings. Anyone changed these or know how?

Well it’s either the sensor front or rear or the brackets that connect the sensors to the suspension arms..

The front sensor and its activating arm are easy to see if the car is on a ramp..

The arm is click clamped to the suspension arm so it’s pretty obvious if it’s disconnected..

Can’t help on the rear one..

I assume no fault codes?

cheers for the reply-no fault codes at all; lights work fine just don't cycle and aim low on the road now. A fuse blew the other week and wiped out all of my air-con, heated seats etc.. Changed that and all was well; probably not linked. Will take it along to the garage
