Xenonmax bulbs

I just saw an advert on tv for Xenonmax bulbs which apparently put out over 100% more light than standard halogen bulbs... has anyone tried them? If they work, I'd love to get them because the halogens on the Z4 are totally crap.

I've got Philips H7 X-Treme Power bulbs at the moment and to be honest they haven't made a great deal of difference.

Any advice on these Xenonmax ones?

I have no knowledge of these specifically but they will just be halogen filament bulbs which I guess instead of using insert argon to fill the capsule they are using xenon. This allows them to make you believe they are xenon bulbs, which of course they are NOT in the sense of xenon HID bulbs.

They may get a bit more light out by making the filament thinner and more stressed at the cost of life expectancy.

IMHO a waste of money, but cheaper than real xenon lights

i bought some Halfords own bulbs extreme brilliance which are filled with Xenon gas and to be honest they did'nt make a blind bit of difference. They weren't bought for the Zed but for my works van i had one bulb go so bought the Halfords ones they were BOGOF,refitted the blown bulb with halfords extreme brilliance one and compared them they looked exactly the same in brightness.
