plug and play.
all the hid plugs are idiot proof too. just be wary of where the ballast is mounted.
Not sure on non oem bi-xenon cars, but if your high beam is separate, you don't want to put a HID kit there. Just for your dipped beam
Reason it takes time for the bulb to 'warm' up, and as a result the bulb is more prone to blowing if used for flashing.
