Xenon to Led Headlight Bulbs

Apologies if this has been covered previously but I have searched and can’t find an answer anywhere.

So one of my xenon bulbs went, just before winter hibernation. So I bought some led replacements, compatible with D2S.

So I’ve finally got around to fitting them and there doesn’t appear to be any way of re-attaching the xenon igniter to the led bulb?

Come to think of it, do I just need to remove the xenon igniter?

post a pic of the bulb you have or a link to what you bought

but i would have thought leds would take 12v, and not a feed off the HID side at all

These are the ones. I’m assuming now that you just unplug the igniter but still not plug and play 🤷‍♂️

Well i would guess since there input volts are 11-30v you would wire them to 12v supply which wouldnt be HIDs as these are 80v and can be AC not DC

Id also say this would trigger the canbus, much easier to use normal osram nightbreakers

Agreed. Should’ve just got them in the first place :headbang:
