Xenon Problem

I've got xenons and auto lights and have noticed that occasionally on a warm start the passengers side one doesn't come on, accompanied by the bulb warning light on the dash.

Seems to always work on a cold start, just about 1 in 3 times it doesn't come on when the car has been stopped within the last few minutes.

I've read a few things here about them needing to cool etc prior to restarting. So wondering whether what I am seeing is normal? Or is something up? I've got an AUC warranty on the car, so will take it in if something is up.

if it was both then i guess maybe, but not when it's just one. plus you have a warning light on.

Sounds like a ballast issue. That's the problem I had with a previous car's xenons - was only an issue on restarting after being stopped off. We noticed it on drives after being stopped 5-10mins for photos, etc.

The 5-10 mins stopped thing sounds pretty similar. I'll go and make friends with the local dealer! (Bought from one a couple of hours away)
