Xenon Pattern Problem

Hi Guys, I am looking for some help with my Xenon Lights. I have hardly ever driven the car at night and never notice this problem before. If you look at the photo you will see there is a huge rectangle in the light pattern that is not illuminated. Is this normal and if not can anyone shed some light on this (parden the pun)? I have swaped the bulbs over from left to right but it has made no difference.

I also seem to have a leveling issue as sometimes when I put the lights on the headlamp moves down and then back to its original position and other times they don't move.

Cheers in advance.

That is certainly not normal. Looks like the offside is dipped and the nearside is on main beam, like one side or the other cutoff shield is stuck or dislodged. Which beams are we supposed to be seeing here? What happens when you switch between dipped and main beams?

Also looks like poor alignment, the two bright spots should be equal or just slightly narrower than the span between the lights on the car.

It's normal for the beams to lower before leveling off when they're switched on.

Hi bcworkz, this is on mainbeam I have now posted a pic of low beam. It appears as both lights are getting brighter when I switch from low to high beam. Car was MOT'd last month and nothing was picked up.

Take a picture of then on dipped beam projected against a wall or garage door, square on, from about 10 feet away. It will be easier to see what's wrong.
