Hey, so my drivers side xenon decided not to work yesterday for a few hours. I called the dealer to get it in to be replaced tomorrow under AUC warranty.

I started it this morning and now it appears to work.....so, do I take it and get it changed or not....what would you chaps do??

Take it in no doubt. It's either ballast, ignitor or the bulb

That narrows it down then

I expect the dealer will start with bulbs though as they are the cheapest and go from there.

Still go to the dealer and have them replace stuff. Rather on their pocket than yours.

I dropped it in...let's see what they come back with. I'm expecting them to say "we can't replicate the problem sir"

New ignitor and bulb, but they didn't change the other side so now the NS is much brighter than the OS. They said if it doesn't dim down over the next couple of days bring it back and they'll change the other side.

Have to say Elms Stansted are bloody useless, I agreed to pick up at 15:30 and when I got there it hadn't been started....finally got put of there at 1715. They've always been poor, I was I could use my warranty at my independent in highams park.
