Hi All..

Just wondered if it is possible to upgrade the Xenon light-bulbs to give a better whiter light..??

Also can anyone recommend a good LED sidelight bulb replacement/ upgrade..

Many thanks

Mark...

You can buy hid's. I've done that and my headlight bulbs now emit a lovely bright white, rather than dull yellow.

These are 5000k bulbs.

Right I may sound like a complete tool now... I want to make my lights brighter as I don't think they're much cop. Is it not a simple case of taking out the bulb and putting a xenon bulb in? What is a hid?m :headbang:

You best bet is to adjust the beam height a couple of turns. Putting in brighter bulbs alone will do bugger all.

This sounds sensible to me, I don't think the brightness is the problem just that the throw is awful! Srhutch could you describe where the adjusters are on the headlights? Would be great if someone had the MOT limits for beam pattern, I've seen them somewhere before.

Hi Steve!

If you lift the bonnet, the adjusters can be seen towards the back of the headlight tucked down next to the wing. There is a white cog that you turn by inserting an Allen key ... Hope that makes sense.
