Xenon headlight level sensor loom - not there!

I've managed to get all the parts for a OEM xenon headlight conversion on a coupe, excluding one headlight.

Attempted to fit the level sensors today - only to find it doesn't have the loom in!

I could have sworn I read the loom was supposed to be in there.

Followed this:

Does anyone have a part number or link on realoem?

Can only guess the owner in the other thread had an older pre facelift car. Cruise control used to be pre wired, but that was dropped later 2004 IIRC.

No, it's on the drivers side in the UK. There often is an additional loom required. I know this was the case for the E46 too.

Your right, I'd been out and had a look on the passenger side and it's not there either. So I'm missing it :(

Anyone have any idea where to get this? I shall be ringing my local BMW dealer tomorrow

Ok so I've been in touch with BMW, the retrofit kit isn't made any more and is no logner availible :(

The guy was trying his best but couldn't find any other parts relating to xenon fitment on a non xenon car.

I'm pretty electrically minded so I could quite easily knock this loom up but I'm having difficultly locating the plugs/connectors which fit in to the level sensors.

Does anyone know where these can be bought from? A1 + A3. The other wires can be terminated with the little square metal terminals and pushed into the existing connectors.

Once you can identify the ones you need you should be able to get from the likes of

http://uk.farnell.com/

daveg sourced the plugs from the back of the stereo from them so these should also be available being more common

also look at ebay

After more searching I feel I'm getting closer

I'm almost certain they're made by Tyco/TE connectivity - 6 pins.

This is a picture of it, this is actually a part from a bmw motorbike

Would it be too much to ask when someone next has a front/rear drivers side wheel off to see if it has a part number?

OK I'm on a roll, shame I have to leave for work in a minute :(

TE connectivity part number: 1-967616-1

http://www.te.com/catalog/pn/en/1-967616-1

962885-1 for the pins on the rear + rubber seals

Though I've now got hold of the scrapyard I bought the level sensors from. He'll sell them for £10 each with 6" of wire connected. I'll just buy that to save the hassle :)

Man! I've been looking for this connector as well. Bought a hit m235i and it has that connector but it's broken and wires are cut.
When I call the scrap yard what connector should I say I'm looking for and from what car/motorcycle ? I would rather buy one with cables. I'm assuming it's for the headlight leveler correct ??

Thanks for your help!
