Xenon headlight condensation

Passenger side headlight is suffering from this. Have been reading up many posts about trying to fix it.

Going to the try the hairdryer trick. Have the back panel off and the xenon bulb out.
Do I direct the hairdryer where the xenon bulb was?
It doesn’t look as if I can get to the front of the lens.
Where should I be directing the airflow?

Thanks

Using a hairdryer is just a short-term solution and the condensation will only reappear. You need to address the root cause.

Take the rear cover off, carefully remove the gasket and clean with warm soapy water. Dry, replace.
If it's hardened and brittle buy a new one.
You can remove, clean, swap and replace the gaskets from both sides so that you're using the other side of the gasket as the main mating surface.

If you have a pool of water in the bottom of the headlight housing then there's every chance that water will drip onto the ballast situated underneath and short it out. That's a headlight off and ballast replacement job.

Best solution is to invest in 2 new gaskets to replace the old ones and make sure the breather holes are clear.

Thanks. I’m aware that it’s short term, but I’d like to dry the insides whilst I am changing the gasket.
I just can’t see where to point the hairdryer so that the moisture inside dries.

OK- I ended up heating the outside of the lens with the hairdryer and eventually got all the condensation away. I reckon it probably took a good 45mins. Stupidly forgot to take any photos.
I washed the seal of the cover and flipped it round and resealed the unit....I think....its quite a tight fit getting the back panel on again.
I guess time will tell
