I'm looking for a set of Alpina D01 alloys for my coupe and have found the ones from an X3 are more readily available and also nearly half the price new compared to ones of a roadster.

Does anyone know why they are cheaper? Weaker or heavier alloy maybe as they are expected to be used on a 4x4 with thickish tyres rather than a sports car?

Dimensions are 8.5 x 19 et47 front and 9.5 x 19 et47 rear, what size tyres would people recommend to avoid scrubbing without sacrificing performance?
The car is standard atm but hoping to pair these up with eibachs which have been gathering dust for too long!

Very good looking wheels but are you prepared for the harshness a set of 19"s will give you if you retain the rolling radius. I haven't checked but would suspect you may well be in 30-35 territory?

I don't know, but I suspect they may be heavier than Z4 ones given the intended application - although they do look good.

You can play around with potential tyre sizes to see how they will fit on here: https://www.willtheyfit.com/

These with some 10mm spacers all round would look the business
As for tyre sizes I would stick to 225 and 255 if you're lowering and spacing, but I'm no tyre expert
