This is what I woke up to this morning...

Not the best start to a Bank Holiday break to Isle of Wight :x :x :x

What are my options? Is this something insurance will cover?

Gutted for you mate - always amazing me at how some little c*** can't leave another persons property alone. I hope it all turns out positively for you. :(

WTF? Sorry to see this. Any idea who is responsible?

Your insurance will cover it if it's fully comp. Depends on the cost of repair whether it is worth claiming once you've considered any excess and future loss of NCD if it's not protected.

Gutted for you mate. My worst nightmare.

Best of luck sorting it out. I’d be calling insurance to at least notify, then Get prices and look at the pros and cons of claiming

WTF! Did they get into the car? Or have they just stolen the section? Very strange. Hope you sort it.

Protecting your no claims doesn’t really do a lot, I had mine protected some years ago when I made a claim & they simply increased my premiums!

I would bet that they though they could just cut the roof to get into the car and then realised there were loads of other obstructions.

Pointless damage all for somebody to steal a few quid out the ashtray or get the satnav from the glove box. You can only hope and pray that the person responsible gets incurable arse grapes or falls under a traction engine...

Low life bar stewards.

We're off to Edinburgh later today, this puts me off taking my Z.

There's quite a few second hand roofs on eBay from about £250 if your not going to claim, I'd be worried about them making the car an economic write off.

Absolutely gutted for mate, makes you think about leaving your P&J anywhere over night. I did wonder about them all parked outside the Link hotel last weekend.
Hope the cvnt falls in front of a truck

Gutted for you😢😢
I’m speechless as to why people do things like this. The bas#&rds deserve a slow death.

As the rest have said, I'm proper gutted for you. It's so hard to believe some little scrote would do that. Just no need. I had something similar about 2 month's ago, so I feel your pain with the insurance side of it. I've not even asked what the damage to my premiums is yet!!

I hope you get it sorted..........or at least bump into the fucktard that did this!!

That's a really sh*tty start to a Bank Holiday OP. :headbang:

I just hope the scumbag responsible ended up having a worse day.

I think I'd look into prices before I called the insurer - that way if you don't claim they haven't got a claim recorded.

Hope you get it sorted as painlessly as possible.

Unbelievable! Utter scum. OP i think your cheapest option would be a full secondhand roof. IIRC they start at around £300 and are relatively easy to fit if you know what you doing. Your probably looking at 3 hours labour to fit one. There's a few threads on here about how to do it. Depending on your insurance excess etc might be the most cost effective route.

What a pisser
I don't know where you are located but if you can get a second hand roof and get it and the car to Bristol, I'll install it for you FOC
