Considering a swap that would cost me the price of getting the tyres swapped over...

Does anyone have any pics of a grey pre-facelift with Turbine 106's?

Cheers

Not keen on either from a styling point of view.

Albeit the 103s would be my choice if I had to choose.

Suppose the car will ride slightly better than on 18s tho.

Neither. You really need some spinners. I think having your rims spin as you come to a complete stop really completes the flame-surfacing look of the Z4. If you can get them in gold that is a plus.

Ha ha ha, good one!.

I vote Y.

I think the twin spokes suit the overall "design language" of the Z4 better. Turbines are a nice concept, but I prefer the symmetry if the twin spokes.

'X' look better on the Z4 but if you're getting CSL style wheels why bother?

It was purely because I could, and the price was right (i.e. next to nothing  )

I'll just leave it then i think.

CSLs will be coming out to play in the summer.

Neither - wait for the CSLs!

Take it from me - I ended up getting some butt-ugly third-party wheels (not that the turbines are butt ugly!) for my winter tyres. It was a last-minute decision, I had planned to park the car in a garage during winter. That plan worked for two weeks - on a sunny December day I couldn't resist myself and took the car to a wheel shop and got the only pair of wheels they had left that fitted the Z4. They do the job, but the car doesn't look nearly as good as it should. On the positive side, winter tyres are rubbish and I don't drive much these days so it's no big loss. Fingers crossed snow will be gone in March though!

BTW I don't see what's so special about the 108s - they seem to be much more popular in the US and UK than on the continent?
