I am finally convinced that the X Factor judges must have some serious hearing issues !!!!!!
Utter rubbish !!!!!

I can't bring myself to watch it these days. The wife does, and was muttering something about how crap it was tonight but I was in the pub at the time.
 
We always watch, always enjoy........some real good talent so far in the auditions especially in the "Boys" category.

That guy that was at the judges houses stage last year is seriously good.

Apart from him, they're all pretty average.
 
All's they ever look for is middle of the road medicocrity. If anything different or interesting turns up to audition they laugh at it and toss it one side, so all we ever get are the likes of One Erection or whatever they're called. It's the same regurgitated rubbish every year now, with an ever increasing amount of adverts interspersed throughout. We do watch it but we record it and fast forward most of it, we can get through a whole programme that way in about 25 mins tops. It either needs to end now or take on a whole new format, it's getting very stale IMO.
 
One upside of being in Japan is that I escape TV like X-factor. Downside though is the J-pop culture over here - have you heard AKB48??

Pop and teenage fashion culture in Japan is a world leader....it's very cool and very current. People on the other side of the world don't realise how much it influences what goes on in the world
