WW2 1942 jeep

A couple of friends of ours came & drove us to the pub yesterday evening in their 1942 jeep, noisy/draughty and very uncomfortable.
It was loads of fun! 8)

Did you point out the slightly excessive gaps along the sides, or just keep quiet.
Had a mate who had a similar one though his was built by Ford. He went everywhere in an Irvin jacket and leather flying helmet. The roof stayed locked in the garage. Got caught a few times in the rain but never seemed to care.
