Speechless and WTF

Tim.

FFS unbelievable, that's absolutely gross. so much for a mans best friend! poor old Shep.

That's totally f :censored: g disgusting. :headbang:

It makes you realise just how 3rd world even large cities in China are. I bet the guides keep the tourists well away from there!

I'm amazed its taken this long for a virus to sweep the world looking at that

If Corona did come from there, every Government around the world should be squeezing China for some sort of compensation :|

Tim.

The western world eat animals so the killing of animals for food is one thing.

But the food hygiene and animal welfare is is another.

In the West there are laws to protect the food chain from all sorts of things that should not be in the food chain.

From where ever it was filmed there is none.......even the meat cleaver being used to cut the snake was blunt.

We could get Chris D to start a thread about Veganism and it’s merits...... :P

Seriously though looking at that filth and unfortunately the treatment of a lot animals in the west for food i find it increasingly hard to justify eating meat, and that’s when the only meat we buy is from the local farm a mile from our house or the butcher using farms within a 5 mile radius.

I eat alot less meat than I used to and tend to go for alot more fresh fish and sea foods these days. I don't begrudge people if they want to eat snake, rats or whatever but the lack of any sort of hygiene with people walking through pools of blood and cross contamination is pretty shocking.

I don’t like fish Tim....in fact the only thing I eat that comes out of the water is a boiled egg.... :P

I have not watched it. But have heard enough from MrsG to know the whole sick, stinking, scum ridden place should be bulldozed from the surface of the plannet.

Thing is that is just one market. There are no doubt thousands like that around our plannet.

Careful Buzylar, you know how unpopular you can become around here if you express any sort of strong opinions!

problem is when you have 1.5 billion people to feed via a relatively small land mass your protein has to come from somewhere, its bloody awful but when you have mouths to feed and very low incomes the poor citizens of china can't afford to be fussy unfortunately

These markets have done more than bullets and bombs!
The Chinese government should be taken to task as its said they knew about the virus long before they made it public.

You could say that they are already covering their tracks as the virus whistleblower is dead. Whether it was the virus that killed him or not, you decide.

That’s true indeed, plus they have built up a much stronger tolerance to this type of eating whereas us in the west would be very ill. That and they basically don’t give two tuppeny tosses about animal welfare, it’s simply a food source as you rightly say.
