I just dont get it! I have my old car for sale and cant wait to buy a Z, Iv just had an email from a chap offering me 8k for the car, its on the web at 12k why do people bother, I mean seriously whats the point no one in there right might would accept 4k less on a car that isnt massivly over priced (and its not its inline with others on the web) I mean if I was that serious about needing the cash I could have gone to auction or part ex id get a damn sight more than 8k

I just dont get the point! I hate having to sell a cars lol!

Ha thanks I feel better for it already!

The chap has emailed me back now offering 11k even though I already told him that I have had 11650 offered by a garage. If he can beat that Id be interested but I am a bit suspect of it being a scam as he wants me to deliver and has gone from 8k to 11k in one jump seems a bit odd and iv already had all the ususal crap from various 'PA's to imortant business men' offering the full price as long as I ship overseas and other such crap!

Its a 57 plate astra VXR and its on ebay and piston heads as well as a vxr forum.
 
I just sold my 2008 M3 and had so may ars***holes doing exactly what you are experiencing. I was asking £38k and was being offer £28k and like yourself people who were not in the country, where buying on behalf of a military man working in Bahgdad, wanting the chassis number before they even saw the car and so on. In the end I sold it back to BMW just tp get away from all the crap.

I now have my Zed and very happy.

sister's just had the same crap trying to get rid of a VW touareg fully loaded, got to the point where she was getting texts at 5am offering 5grand off what she was asking - in the end it sold to a yoocal on AT
