WTD: z4c or z4mc

Hi all,

I used to have a beautiful manual black z4c sport with red leather, it was absolutely mint, full service history, perfect paint etc.
I sold it for a defender, then sold most of my cars and bikes to buy a house… I am now in a position to buy my old cars and bikes that I miss dearly!
So I am looking for a decent z4c or z4mc, must be manual, must have good service history, must be under 90k miles, must not be modified with loads of aftermarket parts like coil overs etc. I’m open to different exterior and interior colours and not overly fussed on wheels etc as I’m mainly after a good base to make it exactly how I like it.
If you have anything, please get in touch! I’m happy to travel anywhere for the right car

There's a large difference between a normal car and an M car and usually the buyer of an M car would never consider a lesser variant.

There's a few coupes for sale none of them take your fancy?

Unfortunately there is nothing currently on here that has quite taken my fancy.

I am very much aware of the difference between the two, however I must be unique in being interested in both. I loved my Z4c for its character and now my own nostalgia which both the M and the 3.0 share.. I have owned various M cars in the past (e46 m3, e90 m3, e64 m6) and at the same time have always had my E30 318is.. some of my bikes have more than 50 years between them for example my 1970 Norton commando 750 fastback and my 2021 race ready zx10rr..
I want a z4 coupe back in my garage whether it be a 3.0 or an M… an ideal situation would be an M popping up that’s perfect for me, however I think I will be waiting a while for that as they aren’t too common and I would want it to be perfect. So for the time being, I would be very much happy with a standard Z4c taking its place in the garage as a z4 is one of the cars from my past that I have decided I would like back to stay.

Bump! Still on the search… if anyones got a spare z4c kicking around in the garage somewhere with low miles and good service history, I’d like to hear about it!

It’s a mixture of patience and obsession.. I think because I’ve had one before and it was so spot on, I can only settle for better this time around.
The service history is the main sticking point for me, it has to be right and unfortunately there’s just too many floating about with 4 year gaps between services and I can’t do it :x … the service indicator was such a let down on these cars because it didn’t really do time that well.
Believe it or not, I search so pedantically across multiple sites, multiple times a day, I’ve actually come across my old car on a previous sale ad, and a current one :rofl:

I can see your point, but as time goes by cars like that are getting hard to find!

When I bought my first one in 2014 it was a pre-reg with 2 other previous keepers and had full BMW SH at 54K miles. When I sold it in 2016 I got it serviced at Sytner (based on time) to keep the BMW SH. But when the next owner was selling last year on 90+K miles it had been out of main agent history, albeit done on time.
