Marf83, PM me your email address... I am still not at my PC, but will be later. Haven't got the brochures on my iPad :headbang:

How easy can you remove the badges? Ie without damaging paint work? And the boot badge that is the handle?

I really want to change mine but was planning on just buying stickers to cover the blue

(sorry to hijack, hopefully its on topic enough)

Cheers buddy. Did you notice he scratched the paint with the pliers when removing the grommets?! On both sides! :D

Very easy - bonnet has two nuts to unscrew, just take the grilles off and feel your way with a small spanner (forget what size) ; indicators just require a sharp craft knife carefully run around the gap a few times to cut through the adhesive tape, take the indicators off first though ; boot, not sure as I have a roadster, but last time I just worked some dental floss behind, eased the badge out a bit and then covered a dinner knife with a piece of cloth and gently worked each side out.

personally I wouldn't use stickers - they look really tacky as they are not real CF, and they will peel in no time. And when one comes off you'll need to take them all off unless you have spares.

For any who want to contact him direct, the chap's name is Ian Clifton - [email protected]. Really good service, you can go premium or less-premium, all look good. If you want his brochures (PDF) then PM me your email address and I will send them on

No point in me adding my tuppence worth - used the same guy as Bing! Prompt service and good (OEM) quality badges.

Yeah - he's daz-someone on eBay, but prefers dealing direct. Which sounded dodgy at first, but I can vouch for quality and speed of delivery too. Skillick got the badges I bought off him originally from the same guy.

He does 'proper' OEM badges with long pins on the bonnet badge and locating holes on the indicator badges now too (rather than having to dremmel bits off)... Though they are more expensive.

Wow really? is it also threaded so i can get the correct size front bumper badge and bolt it on.. like oem? I need another for my M bumper.. and cant be bothered to remove the silicone i used to stick my current one down!

It's not threaded, but then the OEM ones are not threaded - the 'nuts' have sharp edges that bite into the plastics and create their own thread. But yes, the pins are long enough to do this. Warning though - mine cost £25.

Pics for you, as I knew you'd ask :

Sits real nice in the fitting without dremmeling the sides as others have had to do. Only pic I have of that is this one, and it's not a great shot but you can clearly see it does not sit proud at all :

The only thing I wasn't sure about is the double silver ring, but actually it looks fine on the car, as you can sort of see above. See what I mean below :

thanks bing... indeed seems smaller then my current one which i had to dremel and then stick down.

Looks like another car related purchase is in order :headbang:

:D Keeps happening to me on here...

It sits better because of the 'hollowed' centre, which accommodates the wee hump in the badge fitment on the bumper unlike dremmeled badges.
