Someone's breaking a car on the forum. I'd bet the vents are there if not the cup holders. I just got the cup holder from BMW's eBay store. Very reasonable and at least you'll have the screw to fix it on...

Is the cup holder mechanism separate from the grille? It's the grille vent that's smashed around the on-off switch bit.

Yes the cup holder is separate from the vent itself

So I can get any vent then technically?

As long as its the correct side (obvious but worth saying) you'll be good. Just move the cup holder over.

Remove the faceplate (it slides to one side) undo the one screw and slide the cup holder back and off the vent. Dead easy. (I fitted cup holders yesterday so fresh in my mind)
