Hi guys Looking to source a N/S headlight ( I have the dreaded water in headlight), I appreciate I should be taking this opportunity to change to clears but Finances are tight (as usual) but I can't live with this headlight untill I can afford the change over.
Any one got one and How much....

Cheers

Nos

You might want to specify if a black or silver inner.

Shouldn't be too hard to get one from Ebay either, as the halogen and amber is the least sought after. Unlike if you were after a clear indicator prefacelift, silver & xenon :)

What's wrong with this one then:
Lokks like it needs drying out but bid of just £10 right now

So then I would have two headlights that require drying out, I was given to understand that once you had moisture in it then eventually your gonna have to replace.

I have the head light off just now and have got as much of the moisture out as I can using a straw and then hairdrier, but I assume the issue will return.

I was under the impression water finds its way in via the rear cover? I've currently got 2 brand new rear covers ready to fit to mine after suffering minor misting up, but mine seems to have sorted itself before I've had the chance to fit them.

Have now replaced the unit after drying it out, I cleaned up the back cover seal and put a light grease around it, Will see what happens.

First time I have ever had the front bumber off... Pretty straightforward once you get past the fear factor :)

Well if you leave it so long that it corrodes everything then of course. If you dry it out, put a new cover on or otherwise seal it up (as some have done with non setting silicone) then no need to change anything.

For £10 so far I'd bid on this get it home and once dried and ready, swap mine out.

Not me mate, my headlights are the originals, After drying them up and re-sealing them appears to have solved the issue.

Result then

Condensation is also common at this time of year as temps drop and something ignored since the Spring/Summer now becomes apparent.
