Having missed out on 2 Sets of M-Seats, I'm still on the hunt.

Any colour considered, and don't have to be electric or heated.

Let me know if you're thinking of selling

Andrew.

i have a set of black M heated seats with 50k miles on them. passenger seat almost never had a passenger. i'm not looking to make money, just want a buyer for when i remove them.

i'm afraid shipping might be a lot though :/ i'm located in North Carolina, US. if you're interested, i'll keep you in mind before putting up a for sale thread.

i post mainly on zpost, but check the classifieds here now and then.

cheers.

Hi there, i'd certainly be interested but obviously would need to weigh up the cost of shipping and any taxes.

Do let me know though and i'll calculate this when the time comes if i've not already sourced some,

Andrew.

How hard are these to get hold of?!.....A 3.0si came up for breaking on ebay this afternoon, two hours later the m-seats were gone!

The search continues!

Bump! Cash waiting for anyone looking to sell, £400 - £700 depending on colour and condition.

I have a set of standard Z4 black leather electric seats in good condition that I can throw in as part of the deal if needed.

It's definitely worth perservering with your search. I recently changed from a 2003 Z with standard leather seats to a 2007 with M seats. Aside from the improved aesthetics, the M seats provide far more support than standard. They are firmer but not uncomfortably so. I used to find myself sliding down the standard seats particularly on long motorway journeys and had to constantly adjust my position in the seat but no such problems in the new car. If you can find heated versions then that's a bonus.

My brother had them in his z4, so i've spent some time in them, they're a vast improvement in every way. I've set the money aside for the seats for when then become available, but you know what z4itus is like, it's difficult not to get tempted by other tasty mods!

Andrew.

Don't want to hijack this thread, but I am also looking for some M seats and came accross a set here locally, out of a 2007. (Red, heated and electric)

My question is: Are there any compatibility issues regarding airbags when installed in a pre-face lift? I heard that airbag light will be permenantly on when fitting 2007+ seats in my car.

Perhaps the info can also be of help to andrewr

If you install pre-facelift seats in a facelift, or vice versa, you will either need to change the occupancy sensor, or fit a occupancy sensor bypass which fools the seats sensors into thinking everything is as it should be.

Glad you managed to find some seats, there are none available here at the mo!

I suspect this bypass solution applies to both seats, correct? Do you know if I can transfer my own (pre) sensors onto the M (post) seats?

You can swap occupancy sensor. I have facelift M seats on my pre facelift.

Air bag light didn't trip when I changed seats and door cards

I believe it's the passenger side only. Driver's side seat connections should be the same on both prefacelift and facelift.

Thanks people, appreciate your input. Now I'm really tempted :) Pair of Imola red, heated, electric (no lumbar adjustment) and matching door cards, all for $1,400 CDN.

You'll regret it if you don't go for them! If they were for sale in the UK I'd snap them up!

Ok Guys i may be sellng my car in the next couple off months , just awaiting a house sale to go though and persuade the missis that every man should have a italian v8 in there life .

Depending if i get a good price or not,i maybe putting the car back to how it came out of the factory and all the godies will be sold off to maximise the budget for the new car.

So i maybe selling my Black Extended leather ( the ones with the picnic basket weave design on them ) M-Sport seats ,heated and electric and in excelent condition , also will come with the matching door cards (All leather)There came came out of a 2005 car with low miles.

The sale would be on a exchange basis, your pre facelift standard seats and door cards, seats must be electic and heated and of similar condition , and you will have to come to my house (Berkshire)to do the exchange unless your local and have a nice big garage.

Now i not going to pull any punches here due to the rarerity of these seats iam looking for top money .

So if anyone is intersted send me a pm and when and IF the time comes i will pm everyone back and you can make me a offer, i think this will be far the fairest way ,highest exceptable offer wins .This will give everyone a chance.
Sorry for the high jack thread but i thought it would be of interest.

Just to recap dont send me any offers yet as this may not happen just any interest .

Well i know this may be a bit left wing but iam tempted to a Maserati 4200 all for about £12000 for a early one, looks like exceptional value for a rare car with a ferrari engine. Good looks 0-60 in 4.7 secs and 177 mph top end and will seat 4 adults.Just looking for something a bit different.
