WTD: E85 Kidney Grills

Hi All

Am on the lookout for some front Kidney grills for my 2003 E85 Roadster.

Basically I have the 3.0 Silver kidney grill, and I really would prefer black. So i'm looking for a black set, or a spare set that I could paint black myself.

I'd prefer to keep my original grills and not paint them 1. In case I mess up the painting, and 2. So I can return the car to its original form if and when I sell her in the future.

If anyone has a set going please let me know. I am in Bedfordshire, UK.

I also have a set of silver/grey ones from my old 3.0. Was going to put an add up with them and a few other bits. Yours for £15 posted by cheap mail.

Sounds good to me. Presumably they are in OK condition, ie, not cracked or broken? If so how can I pay you? Paypal ok?

It's all gone quiet.

Sorry gents, been rather busy these last few days.

Looking at the cost to ship them then I would be looking for £20 inc postage

Danderton does have first dibs on them though as he PM'd me first.

If he doesn't want them then Lunster you have second dibs.
 
You could always just use some plasti dip danderton. Just put on 3-5 coats of it let it dry between coats and if you don't like it just peel off the plasti dip like well plastic lol just like unwrapping a present it won't ruin the paint or anything. I plan on doing it to my rims but I procrastinate :/

Xiaxio, I did consider that but would rather have a spare set that I could swap back just in case I need to.

Buy a can of black plastidip and spray your current ones. If you mess it up, it literally just peels off. A can of plastidip is like £7 and should do your grills no problem.
 
Platidip is abou £25 from what I can see

Is plasti kote from b&q the same stuff as that's about £8 a can?

Still going to opt for a spare set I think as I'm a wimp :)

Hi,
I'm looking for 1 kidney grille(L/H) If anyone has one..black with chrome surround will do me, I think someone tried to steal it or something, one of the struts has been pulled out ??

I park in an underground car park for a couple of weeks per month think it happened there :(
