This isn't answering your question, but 'ECU Testing' charge £197 plus VAT to repair ABS/DSC units, with a lifetime warranty. Refitting your repaired unit will avoid the need to recode, which you would have to do with a new or replacement unit. Forum member 'Chris g' did have a spare unit - but you need to make sure this is the exact same unit as yours.
