WTB: Meguiars DA Polisher

Maniac

Elite
Hi guys,

I'm in the market for a DA polisher and the Meguiars unit looks good, albeit £180+ anywhere I've seen. I'm not likely to use it many times so its a dear bit of kit to me for that reason, anyone here willing to pass theirs on for a good price?

The Kestrel DA is a good alternative apparently and gets good reviews on detailing world.. They can be had for around the £110 mark IIRC.

I've got one that I could sell on. Original version, very little use. I've also got some Meguiars #80 and #83 that you could have too.

Happy to sell it like that, or I can include the pads I've been using, being a Lake Country Orange and White:

Price? No idea - you tell me.

Where are you based - anywhere near Surrey at all?

I'm Manchester based so likely courier costs unless I'm passing by at some point. Looks like the ideal kit, and I'd likely get my own pads. Whats the difference between this version and the v2 do you know? I've been looking at the Kestrel in the mean-time, seems £140 would get the kestrel and full set of pads/compounds so that's the ballpark figure I'm playing with unless I can reduce it any further (reduced spending = keeping the other half from nagging).

Get the kestral kit from i4-detailing do good deals. theres also a 5% discount code too.

I'll keep an eye on that, they seem to do a "Menzerna Kit" which has everything, for £110, and a "Meguiars" for £145.. The contents (other than brand) appear the same, size of pads, etc. Question is whether the Meguiars products are superior. I simply need a way to remove scratches and bring back a nice deep black shine as the prior owner seems to have cleaned the car with a dirty mop. In any event, all the Kestrel DA6 seem out of stock, literally everywhere. The Pro is available but its also nearly double the price!
