WTB front brake from 3.0i

I want to upgrade my Z3 brakes: I was wandering if any of you guys who upgraded brakes would like to sell his/her FRONT brakes.

I'm looking for calipers (with the clip and possibly the sliders and the bushing), carriers, and rotors. PM me if you have them.

3.0i only since they are 300mm (2.5 are 286 and M are too big for my 16"). Rear brakes are not needed.

Thanks

330ci won't clear 16 and E90 has totally different carrier; however 300mm is the max you can go on 16" there's really no more than a couple mm between the caliper and the rim.

Also, I don't wanna go any larger than 300mm becuase then the front-rear bias will be too much and I have no options for the rear (the Z3 had "custom" rear brakes). I could go with ///M Z3 brakes but they require 17" and bigger master... If I replace the master i'll need the GT1 to bleed the system.

Moreover my problem is not breaking power but heat. Breake power is fine as it is. 300mm would heat up less because they requires less friction to generate the same torque.. Also have bigger surface and, of course, they are vented...

no i meant get the brakes from 330 and get wheels from E90/E92

that combo will work

and having 330brakes int he front and factory dinky 2.5 brakes in the rear has no adverse effect on braking what so ever :driving:

This setting is for the Z3 (which has much smaller brakes in the rear than the 2.5). I asked here because the Z4 3.0i fornt brake are the same as the E46 (well except the 330)

FOR FRONT BRAKES

325 and 2.5i brakes are same.

330 is bigger than the 3.0i so I don't know which E46 brakes are the same as the Z4 3.0 brakes.

The 323 (M52TUB25) (all but the sedan, which has 286mm rotors), 325i (M54B25), and 328 (M52TUB28) all us 300mm front rotor, which is what the Z4 3.0i (both M54B30 and N52B30) and the Z3 3.0i have. The Z4 3.0si has 325mm front rotor which is what the 330i (M54B30) has: 325mm don't clear 16" rims.
The Z4 2.5i (M54B25) has 286mm rotors and share the same brakes of the E46 323 (M52TUB25) sedan (well, also the Z3 2.3, 2.5i, and 2.8, and some E36).

Here's the models with 286mm vented rotors -> Z4 2.5i
Here's the models with 300mm vented rotors -> Z4 3.0i (both M54 and N52)
Here's the models with 325mm vented rotors -> Z4 3.0si

The 300mm and 286mm configuration share the same caliper and pads (ie. the braking surface is the same but the carrier positions the caliper outer; this increases the torque); the 325mm configuration has also increased breaking surface.

PS: I'm still looking, if anyone on this side of the Atlantic have them...
