Woohoo I've just been contacted by Michelin who inform me I've won £550 worth of VIP passes to the WRC in Wales next week.

VIP Parking, VIP Venue, drink, Three course meal, etc etc

MADE....UP!!!

The service park in a ten minute drive from my house, I need to put a plan in place very soon or risk missing this. Welldone :)
 
It was a competition run by BMW CCGB. Post an interesting tyre related question, yes I am a nerd.. as Sp3ctre recently pointed out at a detailing training day while we were talking engines... thanks Sp3ctre :? .

So I spent £820 on new Michelin PSS, got £50 back after the fitter nicked a wheel, then got £75 in fuel vouchers due to an offer Michelin were running and now £550 in WRC tickets. The tyres were almost free by my reckoning!!
 
So jealous! I manage to get into the odd golf hospitality event due to the GF but golf doesn't interest me that much :rofl: So what was the nerdy question?? :poke:

Can't remember that much, something to do with alignment and camber settings, pressures etc.. all about how to get the best performance from the M PSS. I have to say the tyres alone are fantastic, never mind all the fringe benefits I'm getting! Like most say, wish I'd changed them sooner.
 
Sounds like the whole experience with these tyres has been like discovering a bag of gold dust :thumbsup: Enjoy!!! Also, for a few weeks time's sake - :worthless:
 
Tis true... how else would I put up with all the Sh!t that my e85 and e89 has thrown at me... I thrive on 'fix its'.
 
michelin do some awesome comps, i won a set of Pss tyres a few years back, and got to thrash a lambo baloni all day!!

Ha ha ha.
My Mum lives just outside Hay on Wye and was moaning like hell about the fact that road outside her house is being closed overnight so that she can listen to 100+ rally cars go by.
I just asked if I could bring my tent and sit on her wall :)

Ooh, the goodies have arrived. VIP Parking sticker, 2x VIP Passes, itinerary etc... 5am start on Friday to get down there but Woohoo. I'll pop up some pics when I'm back. Will be writing up the experience for Michelin's website and possibly a story in Straight Six (BMW CC GB Magazine).
