Wrapping?

Anyone here got there Z4 wrapped?

I have a black Alpina, and thinking about wrapping...would have been nice to keep the original color..but wanted something else..

Someone had their car wrapped in candy red I think. Have a search through the forum. It looked good but as I use mine as a daily, I do wonder how it will fair with stone chips etc.
 
hmm, its an option or even some orange - new z4's i think look nice in it..

called afew places up.. ranging between £1100 - £1500 not including door shuts..

still think its expensive for such a small car - e60 must be double in comparison!

Wrapped the roof of my previous z4 grey coupe using the company totally dynamic, recommend them 100%.

All the companies i have spoken to say they will not remove panels...were yours removed?

The bumpers and doors were yes. Without removing them it's very difficult to hide the edges of the wrap. I'm surprised other companies don't do the same.
 
I have just looked at the pics you posted when you got your car and it looked fantastic.

Unless you have cleaned it every weekend with sand paper, why would you want to wrap it??? :o :o

I can go back to the original colour whenever I want, so I dont really see the issue.

If you dont like the idea, then don't do it. Simple :thumbsup:
 
It's your car, if you want to wrap it, you wrap it - it can always be removed when you resell or get tired of it

Be interesting to see an Alpina in an outrageous colour :evil:

+1. Total respray colour change would limit your resale, wrap wouldn't. Some nice colours around, but please don't go pink :D

I think most of the 'horror stories' are hangovers from initial attempts at just peeling off the wrap. Nowadays I believe that the vinyl is heated as it's removed which makes it come away easily - that's not to say the car wouldn't benefit from a good polish after it's removed.
 
Paint work is in excellent condition..its a 1 owner car..

I detailed the car over 3 days...

Just not getting along with the color black..it's a pain in the ass to keep clean...hence I thought of wrapping...

M3 Blue, orange, Rs2 blue came to mind..with the intention of removing it one day before sale if needed.
