For sound yes but arguably little else. The N20 was designed with comparable performance whilst being more economical and providing more torque, add that the engine doesn't sit as far forward as the 6cyl so improving turn in. But then slightly immaterial anyways as better as a cruiser than anything else.

I would swap it in a heartbeat!
I had a manual 3.0 and swapped for an auto and wouldn't go back!
As for the six, that's what the car was built around.

Not sure they are wanting to swap, I think it maybe that there is one for sale and it would be a swap in terms of figures for each car. For some people they get rid of their cars after 4 years especially if it had been on a BMW select finance package where they can trade up after 4 years or hand it back.
