No I will/would not. Plain and simple to those players...please leave politics out of sports. I tune in to see top athletes play a game and cheer for one team or the other. I couldn't care less what their political leanings are...just keep it off the field.
They are reaping the whirlwind though, viewership has fallen, this last Super Bowl had the lowest ratings since 1969. So go ahead and make your point just realize that many people are sick and tired of seeing it and there are and will be consequences.
As others have said regarding this issue, if I did some kind of protest at the place of my employment I would be warned and if it continued I would be let go. The ball field is their place of employment and playing the game is their job. They have plenty of other venues to express such opinions...do so there.
