Long story short - we bought a z4 from BMW Approved Used 6 months ago.
Its been back and forth for a number of problems since, one of the issues we have had is that they have never provided it with all the service paperwork and stamps, but have always been promised this would be to follow.
However, 6 months later we still do not have the full paperwork and stamps, and eventually the MD of Sytner calls us up and tells us that it has missed 2 brake fluid changes. But apparantly these do not matter as the last one was done before we picked the car up.
I do not consider this a full service history and therefore do not feel that the car is worth what we paid for it considering we could now no longer sell it on privatley we a full BMW Service History.
So have sent a letter to Sytner rejecting the vehicle and asking for a refund.
That was 2 weeks ago, they have been avoiding the issue since and we finally got hold of the manager at Sytner who has told us that they will not accept the car back as the brake fluid changes do not matter.
I am absolutley appauled at the service.
The best they have offered is a £250 credit to get a service with them at some point.
I have never had such bad service from a main dealer ever.
Fed up. Just want rid of it now.
Have lost the love completely.
My understanding was that any AUC car could only be sold as AUC if it had a full service history.
Can anyone clarify if this includes the brake fluid changes or not?
