The dilemma for me is selling the z4m as I know few years time these cars will be classics...will the R8 be one too???? For 30k, I shouldn't really care as the R8 shouldn't depreciate that much more but I would like to hold onto a car I know that is somewhat timeless...

The V8 isn't particularly quick either. No more so than an E92 M3 for example, which was £30k cheaper when new and had an equally nice engine.
The V10 version sounds lovely though.
