Yes, but so would bricks or axle stands.

Although that rubber puck didn’t see to fit into the jacking point properly as the whole device was at an angle…so don’t know how stable it would be…and you car would need to be high enough to get both the device and scissor jack under in the first place.

Cheap trolley jacks and axle stands are really cheap. Timber isn't anymore! :thumbsup:
 
The reason I mentioned this video was I once knew someone with Renn Stands. Once the car was jacked up using the official jacking point, it was instantly on the stands...no faffing about jacking up in different places.
Always wondered if timber blocks would support the weight of the car.
