Would these fit my 2006 Si SE 3.0?

Have a chance to buy a second hand unmarked set of BBS RC090 17" split rim wheels c/w tyres. (getting hacked off with my run flats). Fronts are 225/40/17 and rears are 245/40/17. My RFs are 225/40/17 all round.

They are 8J and off a 3 series BMW. Seller reckons the offset is 5 x 120?? Don't understand this?

Any ideas if they will fit my 3.0 Si SE?

Thanks for any advice from the experts on here.

the numbers 5x120 are the PCD or wheelbolt fitment , ,offset is et followed by 2 numbers ? the offset is what makes the wheel face look ok or look s**t !
for a Z4 you would want offset of et35/50 , ,the lower the number the more out of the arch the face will look ,& therefore the higher the offset the more the wheelface will sit into your arch .
hope that helps & if not this may http://www.alloywheels.com/Fitment_Guide/BMW

If the offset it anything from 38mm to 47F and 50R they should fit ok

Offset it usually preceded by the letters ET and followed by two numbers.

With yours being the 3.0si SE, it sits a little higher, so the offset could possibly go as low as 35mm without the dreaded scrubbage/scraping

Thanks for the replies and advice.

Since posting up query, I have seen a Z4 with the same BBS split rims. Whilst they look good on the car, a brief chat with the owner has put me off. They seem to "bubble" quite easily and being split rims, are very expensive to refurb properly. The owner also advised that they were bu++ers to clean!

Off to France tomorrow for a 3 week driving holiday down through the Auvergne and Ardeche regions so will be interesting to see how the run flats behave on French roads. They are Bridgestones so I don't expect too much!

I'll address the tyre change scenario when I get back but with around 5/6mm tread all round, I hope I can burn off some of the rubber in France and then feel better about spending £400 plus on some non run flats.

Due to the crap road conditions here in Kent, I don't want to go for 19" or 20" wheels so might just settle for new tyres.
