Would these alloys fit ok?

Hi all - I saw these alloys which look promising: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/19-M6-STYLE-SPLIT-WIDTH-ALLOYS-5X120-BMW-3-SERIES-E46-E90-AND-E92-/180932945833?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D1320387323255816779%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D1%26

Thougtht i'd start a new thread for this question...

I've been playing with a calculator this afternoon and this is what it is looking like atm:

Front current: 8Jx18ET47 225/40
Front new with 235/35: 8.5Jx19ET43 <-- Sticks out 9mm more that current

Back current: 8.5Jx18ET50 255/35
Back new with 265/30: 9.5Jx19ET43 <-- Sticks out 12mm more than current

Would they stick out or would they be ok? I guess i could use the same width tyres as current but am worried about stretching so raised both by 10mm.

Sure someone has fitted these to a zed, from the offsets given you have either an e85 or e86. The offset gives the centre line of the wheel to the inside hub surface, so for the front wheels the difference is 12.7/2+4.0 = 10.35mm further out and 12.7/2-4.0 giving 2.35mm inwards. As a rule of thumb you shouldn't change the offset by more than 5 mm without fitting spacers, however that would worsen the situation in your case.

Yep, the tyres will go on no problem. If you're worried about parking grab some tyres with rim protection. The like of Falken 452s have little/no rim protection, whereas some others will have a beefy lip on the tyre to protect the rim

The tyre size and offset would be fine.
Mine are:
19x8.5inc et40 front and 19x9.5 et45 rear's.
Tyres:
265/30 rear 235/35 front

Are you referring to the 235/265 setup or 225/255 setup?

What tyres would you recommend? I was going to go with the F452s...

Looking good! Think it might be better to stick with the 235/265 tyres like yourself.

So i ended up ordering these wheels & Vreds - should all be delivered this week - hopefully will get them fitted on Saturday - fingers crossed they look good on! :)
