hi would a detached tyre pressure sensor cause this array of dash lights? I have no error codes but do have these (abs) (!) and tyre pressure orange logo. I have checked all ABS sensors are connected, only thing I found is the rear near side tyre has something rattling about inside, is has got to be the tyre pressure sensor somehow detached from the valve stem. I am obviously going to renew that, just curious if anyone else has had this and can put my mind at rest that I haven’t got something more major going wrong. Thanks

Ok TPS sensor replaced…and no that wasn’t causing my issues. So although my Autophix fault code reader was coming back with no fault codes the vehicle control in the car was displaying these three;

I’m thinking possibly a failing ABS sensor??? The faults pings up when I’m driving, usually on heavy acceleration or cornering, when I park turn engine off and then return to the car the faults ping up again but then after a short drive another ping and they clear. Keep driving and they eventually come back in, again it seems when heavy acceleration or cornering.
What do you think???

Before getting too deep into ABS/ TPMS potential problems it is worth checking the battery.Naylz said:
A failing battery, or one low on charge, can cause havoc with these type of 'fake' errors. It may be something more but the battery is easy to check and sort in the first instance.
I had the same intermittent faults showing on a previous BMW. It took me ages to realise it was just the battery running too low.
ok so battery charged to this level, would that give these fault codes?I have since last posting also replaced the rear left ABS sensor which hasn’t solved the problem. They come on after a short drive, then when I next drive the car i get a bing then they all clear themselves as soon as I start to drive away, unfortunately they then come back in again within 10-15 mins, they come in together and I don’t have to be breaking when they do.
I’ve had another thought, I have a small oil leak towards the rear of the sump area, there is a bunch of wires in that area and the plug has got oil on it, thinking what if those wires are from the ABS sensors and oil has got into the connections?? When I get an opportunity I plan to unplug and clean these, who knows maybe that could be causing my gremlins

Now found these codes with my autophix, need to do more googling
So something is shitting on one of the main data buses..
Either a module like DSC has failed..or there's a fault in the wiring /connections..
The AUC fault is a duff sensor and unconnected (pun) to the rest..

Update: took my car to Zedshed, whilst on the diagnostics machine, ignition on but engine off my footwell module lost its marbles due to a significant voltage drop. The module had to be removed, corrupt files reloaded and then coded back to the vehicle. Turns out my battery was faulty, 3years old Bosch with a 5 year warranty ( that I’m persuing a claim on now), any how since renewing the battery with a varta I have not had any of the dash lights come back. I do however have an issue with the rear left abs ring, seems it’s swollen so causing that sensor to intermittently read wrong and I get brief pulsations when braking from the abs thinking that wheel is skidding, I guess. It is booked in to have both rear rings replaced along with new abs sensors as I have probably wrecked the new one I fitted due to the ring issue. Fingers crossed that sorts it.
Since the footwell module re-coding I have now noticed my hazards now do a repetitive double flash pattern and my interior light doesn’t come on when I remove the ignition key, wondering if these are things I can change?.
