Worst job to do on the Zed

If there's just one job I really hate, it's getting rid of the specs of tar on the bodywork.

For those who've never tried WD40 on tar, works 100 times better than T cut or standard polish like Mer. Think it took me just 45 minutes to do both the Zed & AUDI today with that... still hate that job, though as always gr8 when finished.

Got me thinking whether anyone else has a worse pet hate on the Zed?

for me its 100% the wheels  some time I will clear the car but not the wheels  I hate it that much.

Get some tardis Jembo.

I know what you mean about the wheels. 108's were the easiest to clean by a mile. Although the powdercoat finish on my ///M seems to resist brake dust very well.

Dreading cleaning CSL's though when i get a set.

As said, twrdis/iron x and you're away!!!

For me it's the inside on the windscreen. Such a pain with the harsh angle is meets the dash at!

Again, eaiser to do when standing outside the car with roof down. Another reason the roadster is superior to the coupe.

Wheels for me too!

Takes as long to clean my wheels as it does the entire bodywork.

You guys don't realise how lucky you are.

My other half has a focus, specifically the one below:

The wheels are an absolute nightmare to clean. We have an agreement where she does the ironing and I clean the cars and do the garden.

Well, I think i'd rather iron than mess about with these ridiculous alloys she has. Add to that the black paint and the whole cleaning process becomes a nightmare.

With regards to the zed, i'd say cleaning the interior is by far the hardest part. It collects so much dust and with the limited interior space, it just turns into one big swearing session, constantly hitting my hands, scratching bodyparts and generally.getting roughed up by various bits of plastic and metal.

My wife's' car gets washed once a month if it's lucky, by the local hand car wash chaps

That will of course change when we get her a new one :D

For me it's the front bumper, being a total girl I hate having to go near the dead n splattered wasps/spiders/flies eww.

The thin slots on the MV2's by the time I get to the wheels I just want to go for a drive lol

Generally its wheel cleaning for me. But i recently discovered another one.
Cleaning the entire car to the best of your ability. Then realising that you forgot to do the fabric roof. > Bad move!

Basically had to re-clean the car twice. Do the roof first people !
