Worn diff bush cause wobble?

This maybe a silly question, I know my rear diff mounting bush needs changing and I’ve just ordered the power flex kit.

I current get an Wobble around 60-80mph like the whee isn’t balanced. They have been balanced 3 times, an alignment done and all bushes checked and it still happens.

Could my worn rear diff mounting bush cause wobble and be the problem?

It currently clunks in 1/2 at low speed and I can see signs along wear so.

Thanks :)

Has the wheel been refurbished? I know a few people have had issues with the mating face being painted during a refurb, which can cause issues.

Aside from that, wobble through the steering wheel is going to be related to the front axle. The rear wheels might cause a vibration you feel through the seats but the steering wheel is only connected to the front axle.

Thanks for your reply. Yes they have but the mounting faces look ok, I will take the wheels off and scrap/clean them up and try them.

You want to get them back to bare metal. Any paint can cause imbalance in the wheels as they won't be running straight and true.

Or there is rust/dirt between bearing flange and brake disk.
Lots of possibilities. Start measuring with an indicator dial on a magnetic stand or so.

It has new discs and pads on the front. Would a warped disc cause wobble at 60/70 mph only?

A warped disc wouldnt, but if theres a bit of dirt trapped behind it the wheel is also slightly out of alighnment.
That said a balancing issue is far more lightly, or an oval tyre.
