Way too lenient IMO. And the denial from Uruguay is laughable.

Anyway, back on topic, I'll be glad when its all over and some sort of normality returns to our TV schedules so that I can watch the usual crap at the usual times.

At least Glastonbury will be on this weekend or has that been banished from our TV channels in favour of the world cup?

Agree Mexico have had a great world cup and you have to feel for them and I thought at one stage Holland were toast but fair play to them as they showed great resolve and I quietly fancy Holland to go very far.
 
I like holland, but they needed to do better in that game.

Mexico - yeah, a shame .. but if you watched the Chile Brazil game.. i've never seen a team who deserved a win more than Chile.

I missed that game but I did switch on just in time for the penalties and I enjoyed watching those and Chile have also done themselves proud, I also think its been a cracking world cup and pretty much most of the games have been very entertaining.
 
This is a good game, Algeria deserve to go through, but I suspect that the Germans, as ever, wil find a way.

That was the worst game I have watched so far which was a shame because I thought it might be a decent game but overall this world cup has been very enjoyable to watch with plenty of goals and late drama...plus as a neutral I always love watching penalties.

The ref never managed to get hold of the game and to watch I was getting sick of the constant start stop nature of it too.
 
Brazil don't deserve to win or go any further. They play a very different game to how we want them to play. I actually want Germany go beat them now

Imagine a Germany Argentina final......we Brits would live that!! :rofl:
