Workshop Clock

So clearing out some of my rubbish from the workshop last night. I have a pair of warped 330 brake discs. If i cleaned them up and put a clock mechanism in them would anyone fancy them as a garage/workshop clock? £30 would cover the effort materials and postage. Let me know if its something you would like and i shall make it happen.

I wasn't having a go at your spelling mate :?
I was just making joke about a clock made from brake pads. There was nothing wrong with your spelling - not that I'm bothered about spelling anyway.
You're one of the nicest fellas on here - I wouldn't never have a go at you Matt.

Maybe its because its really hot, Or i have not had a good nights sleep for a while. What with the wife being a bit bigger than normal and needing to wee every five minutes.

But that has really pissed me off Marlon!! My spelling isn't great and i was very nervous about using a forum before i joined hear. Luckily for me most people on hear are nice and dont mock me for it!

I see people posting with fantastic grammar and spelling. But asking some in my opinion very simple and silly questions. Maybe i should mack them?????????? Hang no i wont do that because i am not a C**T.

Wow, things have got a little out of control here.

I have never met either of you but from years on the forum I know you are both very very nice people and will to go out of your way to help one others.

Matt I don't think Marlon was having any digs at your grammar, just a joke bout a Brake Disc being used to tell you when its time for a break.

Matt I think your a great member with a lot of very valuable knowledge and skills but you did over react there and owe Marlon an apology, i'm sure an apology will soon see this resolved.

Matt, I think Marlon's joke went about 36,000ft above your head mate  chill out. The heat does get to the best of us sometimes. I can't stand it anymore. Bring on winter!!!

I really don't think Marlon was having a pop at you Matt

I read it as a wordplay on 'brake disc'/'take a break' - hence my :slaphead: reaction to a bad pun

Oh, I see it was all sorted while I was typing that...

Bit worried you were going to call in your seconds for a 'Handbags at Dawn' duel...

I can only apologize. Very tired and obviously a bit touchy. And not reading things properly!
I have sent Marlon a PM apologizing.

I am now taking myself away from the internet. Before i start WW3!!

Mat, I can't see where Marlon was taking the pi55 mate, unless I'm missing something??
You think it's bad now, wait till your new bundle of joy pops out, then you will know what tired means

Mate, you will have lots of pressure on you at the moment, you have apologized. Enough said
Now where are those bloody photos

As Matt has said, we have PM'd each other - Matt's apologised and we are laughing about the whole thing now.
That's one of the problems with forums - its easy to get the wrong end of the stick so to speak.

I suggest any future misunderstandings between forum members should be called a 'Workshop Clock' moment
