Hi. Here is a photo of my new Z4C bought just weeks ago. In fact its not my first Z4C as I had an almost new one back in 2006 - I really enjoyed that car and was very sorry to see it eventually go. Since then I've had a number of different cars including a Cayman and a 911 and most recently a new Golf R but I'm glad to be back! Just one thing - I'd forgotton just how 'harsh' the ride can be, My wife thinks its harder than my 1980's Morgan +8 and that's saying something! Whats the perceived wisdom on dropping the run flat tyres and if so what tyres do people recommend?? Thanks. David

Nice motor Dd & welcome back :)
As you have spotted the harsh ride from the off & looking to soften then definitely go for non runflats & myself i would also go to ///M sizes so 225 45 front 255 40 rears
Brands favoured by other Z4 owners would be Vredestein (£400ish ) Goodyear (£450ish) Uniroyal Rs3 (£350ish) & of course Michelins if budget allows (£500ish)
If still unhappy fit a set of Se springs

Welcome back to the fold.

Very nice looking motor there. Follow Mr Wilks advice and you wont go far wrong on the ride. :D

Thanks all for the welcome. Those RFT's are just going to have to go!!! ...... otherwise I'm thoroughly enjoying being back in a Z4. :D :D

Welcome back! Although it seems to have taken you a bit longer than me!

And I must compliment you on your impeccable taste - yours looks like a twin of my latest!
