Firstly I wanted to say a big thank you for the great welcome to the site and the wealth of information on here - it really has been invaluable. I took a bit of a risk buying unseen but felt it was worth it as it was an AUC and I was very specific in asking questions beforehand - a lot of them having been researched on here.

The garage came up trumps and put some great (I think) alloys on it (see previous posts). The car is a 3.0i SE in Merlot Red with beige Oregon leather, has low miles and I believe a good spec:

Professional nav
Bluetooth
CD changer
Cruise control
Folding, auto dimming mirrors
Prof Carver hi fi

The only thing I am lacking is a wind deflector which I need to get (will be researching on here as there appears to be some different versions i.e. over hoops or sliding in between) and of course a forum sticker - which I will rectify immediately!

So if you see a girlie hurtling up and down the A1 in Lincolnshire with an inane grin on her face, give her a wave - it's me!

 Good spec,and nice car
theres not alot of Merlot red about....u should bring it along to one of the meets
Wales in April,or The Lakes or dales meets on Saturday 2nd july or Sunday 3rd July, and give it a good days run :D :driving:

Thanks for your replies, I will definitely look at coming to one of the meets. Just taken another (bad) photo:

Think I've caught Z4 disease, recognise the symptoms? Constant grin, gratuitous photo taking, offering to run boring errands (just been to Wickes to buy compression joints), not feeling the cold (had the hood down on said Wickes trip - well it is a positively tropical 7 degrees) just gearing up for when the cleaning phase kicks in........ :D

Harrier canned, told we'd be relocating again  selling house  to move back to Married Quarters on base :tumbleweed: needed to restore grins so bought Z4 :D Exchanged contracts day she arrived...............

Nice wheels by the way

Let the cleaning commence.............remember unlike the harrier this has no vertical take off......from there on in its the same.....

Really like the colour.

When i was looking for a Z4. A 3.0 in Merlot Red was top of the list followed by a a Blue 3.0 .I ended up buying a Toledo Blue as all the Merlot Reds that were for sale at that time were 2.0 or 2.5.
Your new Z4 should give you hours of pleasure polishing as it is the best colour for a Z4 i.m.h.o  o

Have to say that looks absolutely stunning, love the MV3's have been thinking of adding a set to mine
