wood trim

If anyone wants to view my wood, it will be on show at the Ace next weekend

And there was me just posting how much I was looking forward to the Ace Cafe meet. I'm not so sure now!

I have a set in the attic. Dark poplar I think it's called. It does grow on you, especially in the winter. Car felt a lot warmer inside than with the ali.

If the OP doesn't get it, I'd be interested - let me know if you'd post it. Thanks!

OP, would you be interested, can get pictures later if you want.

Yes! Pictures if possible, would be appreciated, and of course how much damage it will do to my bank balance

I know and I have had years of ridicule from other forum members, while I always knew that wood was cool.
I always knew it was jealousy on their part, Jealous I tell you... JEALOUS !! :crazydude:
And my next prediction for coolness is the whippy aerial, so grab one now before they shoot up in value.

I'm sorry but in this case I agree with firebobby, however I have removed the whippy and fitted a stubby (but I have kept it!) I'm of a generation that believes that a real car has leather seats and a wood dash, take the mick if you like but that is the way it is :D

Some pics in the attic plus 1 outside to try and show the 'grain'.?! There a couple of small but nothing major. Happy to take close ups if you want but as the panels are quite dark they are difficult to capture.
As for cost, difficult as they don't come up for sale very often. How about £75 + whatever the postage costs. Would have to find boxes and bubble wrap before I could get a price.

Perfect, just what I need. Cost is fine, just sort the cost of shipping and we'll go from there. Many thanks.

Great, saves it going to waste. Will get back to you with postage cost just as soon as I find suitable packaging.
If you need any tips on changing it let me know, had mine out twice now.

That's potentially bargain of the century

I paid that for my aluminium from this forum, was a good deal. I asked this for the wood at the time, nobody wanted to pay it.
Would be wrong to mark it up this time. Hopefully karma finds its way back!

Bazza,
Have pm'd and yes any tips on how to remove would be appreciated especially the centre console bit! Thank you for that price, much appreciated. It does mean that there will be an aluminium set up for grabs after this is fitted. Please register interest :D
