Oh, I've got a tongue that's ten inches long,
and I've learnt to breathe through me ears...

Oh, and another reason.....

No need to thank me for this wonderful picture. :driving:

I think its a BSA isn't it NDB? Lovely

It is nice. Not sure I'd follow anyone pushing a motorbike down the motorway though. Utter madness.

(No, not what you think :D )

Thought I'd post something car related for a change

Yesterday on the M6, I drove over a piece of wood. Didn't see it til the last minute and no chance of avoidance.
I heard it bang under the rear of the car and my wheel flipped it up in the air, about 8 feet it looked like.
Luckily it went between the car behind and the lorry in the inside lane. Bet they sh1t themselves.

I couldn't see any visible damage but the car was filthy when I got back and it's been vile weather all day (just been snowing).
It drove fine after so I'm hoping it's ok.

There, I do post car stuff sometimes.

You knew exactly what you were starting Carol

Honestly officer i was doing 70mph.

I ran over over a packing case lid on my motorbike that suddenly appeared from beneath the lorry in front.

Thankfully no nails sticking up..or i missed them all.

:D its been used successfully in the past and given some excellent results, although its a small hand held unit :D

as we slowly spiral downhill, passing the gutter and proceeding directly to the sewer that is our minds....

thanks Carol

Yeah righto.....
Can we expect your next topic to be
"It's feeling a bit stiff and there's fluid leaking out"
and you telling us about what you think is a power steering issue?

(PS, pedants please get back in your box, I know the E89 is electrically assisted)

You were really lucky !!

Exactly the same the same happened to me 2 weeks ago on the M6 but I was driving my Jaguar.

I hit the lump of wood with the front wheel, it then ripped off my skirt and caused a rear blowout :o
