Wood grain trim fix

I like that mine has wood grain trim, it goes really nicely with the light leather interior, but there is a chip out of the trim along the center consul, right on the edge near where the seatbelt anchor bit is on the seat. Has any one tried or done any successful repairs on woodgrain, and if so, how or with what.

Cheers

Quite possibly. How many different wood colour variations are there, as I can see some being advertised but with different wood colour names. How do I find which one I have fitted?

Post a pic of the chip. If it's just in the clear layer on top of the wood you could fill it with clear paint or epoxy then wetsand it smooth and polish it to match the rest. I had to do that on my Z3 because I hit the console with the seat tracks when I had to pull the seats.

You need to enter your chassis number in a vin decoder, that will give you all the options the car came with.
