Well after two incredibly long weeks without her I got my baby back this morning and by god I'd forgotten how good she is! :driving:

I spent most of the two weeks in a 1.6 Focus, followed up with a stab in a CLK 270 CDI (which was nicer, but still not quick). I got back in the Z4 today and I'd forgotten just how fast she really is. :D

Anyway, the reason I've been without her is that I've been getting the front end resprayed, the whole bumper, bonnet and wing tops. Also had the side skirts tidied up to get rid of the road rash near the rear wheels. She's now totally spotless and free of stone chips, I'm £480 lighter but seriously don't mind, once she's had a full machine polish in a few weeks I do think she'll be perfect :)

Sorry to ramble but I'm a very happy owner, also, if anyone in the North East thinks their Z4 is looking tired on the front, DS Autobodies in Sunderland come highly recommended. No connection to them. ;)
 
Defo a good price. I had mine done the same 2 years ago and it was more than that,but they did a nice job which still looks great. Gonna clay it when the weather warms up a bit so it shines like a shiny thing. :D

Still very impressed that the respray on the front has a LOT less swirls in it than the respray done by the BMW bodyshop on the back of the car, can't wait to get her fully corrected. :D

Looks good mate, my neck of the woods......will they negotiate for Forum members?
 
Not sure if he'd do that, he's pretty cheap already, certainly wouldn't hurt to ask though I suppose! :D
 
Thanks guys, it's a colour that really only comes to life when the sun is on it, but it's worth the wait :)
